Arnold Palmer Invitational

The Arnold Palmer Invitational is a professional golf tournament played each March at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, a private golf resort owned since 1974 by Arnold Palmer in Bay Hill, a suburb southwest of Orlando.

NFL Pro Bowl

The Pro Bowl is the all-star game of the National Football League played at the end of the season. The Pro Bowl has been hosted in Orlando’s Camping World Stadium since 2016.

Citrus Bowl

The seventh-oldest collegiate bowl game in the country, the Vrbo Citrus Bowl has hosted top teams from the Big Ten and Southeastern conferences. In the College Football Playoff era, the game will also occasionally host top teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Daytona 500

Held every year in Daytona Beach, an hour drive from Orlando, the Daytona 500 is a 500-mile-long Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series motor race held at Daytona International Speedway. Around 200,000 people from all over the world attend the race.

National Sporting Events

Orlando hosts more than just 75 million visitors each year – it also hosts the NFL Pro Bowl, the Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA golf tournament, Silver Spurs Rodeo, the Citrus Bowl, the Daytona 500, Bike Week and even the Major League Gaming’s Call of Duty esports competition.

Visiting the springs is perfect for observing abundant wildlife or cooling off on a summer day. Springs near Orlando include Wekiwa Springs State Park, Kelly Park, Blue Spring State Park and De Leon Springs State Park.

Hiking and Nature Trails

Orlando features many natural areas just a few miles from the downtown business district. Mead Garden offers 50 acres in the heart of Winter Park, a few miles north of the tip of Orlando. Enjoy a lazy afternoon exploring the nature trails or dipping your feet in the freshwater ponds.

USTA National Campus

The 64-acre United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus is a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced facility for players of every level and was designed with the goal of ensuring the sports continued growth far into the 21st century.

The National Campus offers 100 courts of varying surfaces, providing American pros with a home base to train and residents a place to play 365 days of the year, all while brushing shoulders with some of the game’s rising stars. The facility also hosts national, individual and collegiate events. 

National Training Center

The National Training Center (NTC) is a state-of-the-art sports and fitness facility located in Clermont, Florida. The facility, part of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, is a warm-weather training destination for hundreds of high school, collegiate, professional and amateur athletes from around the country and the world.
